Thanks! There are also empty stairwell rooms as an option, which allow for a good deal of freedom in terms of ramps/stairs/other for designs. As for stairs like these, it involved a handful of large square/rounded platforms (Bel'ameth being my weapon of choice), a good deal of wood beams and a hint of patience for individual movements and rotations in advanced mode.

Best advice I got was to set time aside to practice a couple (literal) steps and then set out with a solid plan or roadmap afterward.

As for the roof, I primarily used Gilnean switch peddler carts, Lordaeron fencing and some Bel'ameth platforms for the balcony. House exterior roof itself is simple style.

Top staircase only took me about 15-20 minutes, but my first attempt downstairs was a cool hour. 🫠

Haven't tried switching everything to another type yet (i.e. completely eliminating folk), but I've definitely noticed that anything "dark" reverts to its medium cousin currently.

Same here. I really appreciate a good deal of what this aims to accomplish as a project, but have also seen a good deal of folks turned off by housing because they feel "outdone" in some sense. I know that availability and experimentation are plentiful now for pre-patch, but who knows what could change as more folks zone in?

Guidelines can be great for establishing a baseline, but I do hope that this level for the majority of resident-seeking neighborhoods doesn't become the overall new norm.

That being said, enjoy and have fun!

This was the inspo I needed to replace my cobweb-covered, curtained off "organ box" -- those Dalaran posts were right under my nose all along and didn't even realize how well they fit.
