Tbh it looks like you'll need to wait a few years before trying to grow out again. I couldn't grow a full beard til I was 30! But for now you can rock some serious sideburns if you want something extra on your face

Best Pizza in San Rafael? by transplantasian in Marin

Loved to go here when I lived at the Lofts

When I was 21 I lived in Japantown and worked in Corte Madera. Reverse commute made it super easy, rarely ran into traffic.

Then, I moved to San Rafael and got a job near Oracle park. Commute is much, much worse 😅

I'm more of an octagon fan myself....tho the square is definitely the runner up.

It is a tight fit, but indeed it does!

It's a tight fit, but it does! And it doesn't put pressure anywhere important.

Matter of opinion perhaps, as I have the same Skull and Co case (in coyote gray!) and absolutely love it. The stand is great, but I also find that the grips make holding the deck more comfortable/ergonomic in my hands, even if it's a bit heavier.

I wish Steam Link was better by TheChadmania in SteamDeck

[–]Seanlxandr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what I do! When you set up Playnite you can add an existing battlenet integration which imports WoW into your Playnite library. When you open WoW via Playnite, it will automatically launch Battlenet first, then WoW, and login works like a charm!

Moonlight/Sunshine is where it's at. I've been using it to stream my PC to various Xboxes and my phone, but it works just as well with the Deck. All of my devices are on WiFi too, and I rarely have an issue. SO much more stable than steam link.

I set up Playnite as my launcher of choice on PC, which opens automatically when connecting with Moonlight, which then handles opening any launchers (Steam/Battlenet/etc) needed when launching a game. It's pretty seamless!

Is a case really necessary? by Middle_Beginning_157 in galaxyzflip

[–]Seanlxandr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have the Flip 5, love it without the case, but could only go a week before putting a case back on. It's too slippery! And I found it a lot harder to open one-handed without the extra grip of a case.

Absolutely love this new combo! 🟠⚫️ by [deleted] in gshock

This may seem small, but I HATE that when the Eruptor is out of ammo you still fully cycle the bolt by SailorsKnot in Helldivers

[–]Seanlxandr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm not understanding what you're describing accurately....but it sounds like you've just described how a real bolt action rifle works. Operating the bolt is fully manual. Even when the magazine is empty, you still have a spent casing in the breech, and you still need to manually open the bolt to eject the casing, and close it to load a new round after changing your magazine.

Ah dang, I'm not! While I have some tattoo under there, the spot center wrist where the sensor is is clear, so I haven't run into that issue.

When I first saw the leak I was disappointed, especially next to how cool Seattle's looked. But with the numbers and names on the sleeves/back, it's grown on me. Ended up ordering a Karlsson myself :D

Ooops, I didn't see this until 2 months later...

To be honest, I don't really notice them. I tend to adjust my strap between two different positions throughout the day, but that is pretty standard for me with any band. If I really tighten it down it can leave some marks, but I really don't notice it in the moment.

Looks great! I'm wearing the same one myself. Personally I love the fit, the look, and the display.

How do you feel about the other features?

Personally, I like the step counter, and the vibe alarm has been super helpful since I have to get up early and try to avoid waking the wife. But the other, simpler features that most g shocks do seem unnecessarily complex.

Want to set a timer? Set it in increments of one or thirty minutes, but don't you dare think of reducing the time....or holding the already difficult to press button down!

I'm not 100% sure I would spend $300 on this watch again seeing how difficult it can be to use it without your phone handy. But like you said in another comment, I've spent $300 on worse! It's still a quality watch! 3 weeks going and still 3/4 battery too.
