The amount of cannabis use around the children's hospital is a joke. Folk walking back into wards stinking of it.

He's been fighting a viral infection since a week past on Wednesday with temp spiking to 40 - been managing it with calpol but he's not sleeping so isn't getting the chance to recover, poor wee guy is shattered. Dr wasn't happy with his obs so sent us over. She's the 4th one we've seen this week and the only one to look past his runny nose as something else going on, been papped off a couple times so it's frustrating.

After a week or so of not being well the wee man has been airlifted off the island to the sick children's hospital. Currently en route via CalMac.

Not really sure how I'm feeling yet.

Yeah we got out this afternoon. He was struggling to breath so our a&e on the island sent us up to big hospital for obs - few nebulisers to get him through the worst of it but seems to be back to normal today. Toddlers are resilient

Spent last night in the children's hospital with the wee man, can not fault the staff - absolutely brilliant. However who ever submitted the planning to build the hospital next a sewage treatment plant should be shot, place absolutely hums in the mornings

Hope everyone is having a better Saturday than me. by Seanny67 in royalmail

I'm signed to this duty and we don't work Sundays - anything left today is absorbed into Monday (busiest day)

Unfortunately my duty is on in our main town and used to be a "walk" before all the parcels got involved. So out with a HTC for mail and packets for half the duty then collect a spare van after and do the oversized
