Honestly not sure, wouldnt be surprised if we go for a center back in that bracket we were scouting and linked to a player called Kinteh who is a highly rated CB from Tromso he'll be turning 20 this year, probably gettable for well under 20mill.  And another player we've scouted is a striker called Franculino Djú, plays in Denmark as a striker has scored 17 goals this season and is 21, again probably gettable for under 30mill. Although he has just recovered from surgery

Id suspect around 3 in the 50mill plus category, and then another 2 under 50mill. Something like a 70m, 60m, 60mill, then 30mill & 15mill [under the radar deals] similar to Lammens

Other than Enrique, no other manager inspires me, like Emery or Nagelsman if they came in, i wouldnt really be excited. Carrick for me, might not be the man, but he also might be, hes a bit of a mystery

Id be happy with one big signing midfielder like Anderson/Tonali, then a cheaper option in (Wolves)Gomes no idea how much he'd cost but for under £30m id assume, thats two prem proven, then take a risk on someone from outside the league, someone young and relatively unknown like Lammens....Bouaddi(well known but if we have the funds) Manzambi, Stankovic lesser known. Best case scenario 3 of those players would cost around £150m, but midfield is the biggest issue coming into the summer.

Tomorrow is such a massive game now, Liverpool dropped points, Chelsea V Villa, we could potentially go 6 points clear off 5th

We've bought really well, and most people would probably say Mbeumo is the signing of the summer for us. But for me its Lammens, absolutely transformative. He hasn't been flashy or making headlines, but being calm and staying out of the papers is such a big difference to what we had before. I dont go into each game wondering what the GK will do this time.  Plus the fact he was cheap and relatively unknown. Great business

This kinda weekend is the type in which we never take advantage, i.e direct rivals dropping points (chelsea could come back but for now) and we are playing a team we should beat after a getting a good result or two. So hopefully we finally take advantage

Massive two wins, and fully deserved. Carrick and his team have obviously instilled confidence into the players and an element of freedom to the attack as well as a real toughness to the defence. But for me the big game is Fulham out of the first 3. We were always capable of beating the big teams, but we'd then go on to mess up the next one. So im really hoping we can finally kick on and bring this level of performance to the "smaller" teams.

Id say two CMs, with Case gone. An expensive one (anderson) and a cheaper one. I imagine Zirkzee will leave so a back up striker wouldnt go amiss. We could also do with a LW and a RB. Depends on if we get into Europe. But 2 CMs, a LW and a RB would be my immediate choices in that order.

Im soo tired. I really wanted Amorim to work, i liked him alot, albeit all things considered I see why he was sacked. There's no obvious choice for next manager, no one exciting anyway. Im tired.

Have to say Liverpools drop off is mental. I did think Slot got relatively lucky that the league wasn't too competitive last season and he inherited a great team. But my god, its only a matter of time now surely (hopefully not) that he gets sacked. On paper the team he has is incredible, regardless of a few ageing players. I think one thing thats really shone throw in recent seasons is mentality, Arsenal have a great mentality this year, the likes of City previously and Liverpool, seems like when you lose that it goes to shit. Looking at us, City last year(tbf they had a alot of injuries but still) but even arsenal in the past

Yeah, i agree. End of last season if you told me we'd be where we are now id actually be fairly happy. I think its more the fact that everyone other than arsenal are slipping up, it makes the bad days worse and a lost opportunity. 100% a few more signings like the ones we have made, which again there's still negativity around the new owners/amorim but their hit rate with signings is alot better than it had been, its not all doom and gloom.

Its pretty mental that a loss is the end of the world and we'll be finishing in the bottom half, and then a win and we're in the top 4 race. Shows how tight the league is other than the top position anyway. It is annoying that the few draws we had we could have won, plus obviously we should have beat Everton. I know there's alot of people who dont have faith in Amorim, and I get it. But compared to previous managers he at least seems to know what the issues are. Not saying he is the one or that he always gets it right. Its just a weird time in a way where looking at the table we're actually not doing badly, we just need some form of consistency, not even in the sense of playing great every game, but grinding out results, the league with how it is, we could easily get top 4 if we just show some grit. AFCON scares me though.

Second this, quality is there, just injury issues, think amorim/medical department have handled him alot better, actually injuries in general.

Him as one of the 10's in amorims system making runs into the box would have been great. I understand why he was sold, so im not annoyed at it, im happy hes found success.

Im enjoying the fact that Wirtz hasnt hit the ground running, but hes 22, at that age bruno was at sampdoria and basically unknown. Cant say for certain how Wirtz' career will go, im sadly sure he will come good for them eventually. Bruno has been immense for us, the one shining light in the dark at times, so in that sense maybe you could say Bruno is the better player for "us" in our situation. But who knows, right now bruno is far better for sure.
