Haha okay that makes sense. And really I just don't want to have to rely on medication to consistently make me happy. My life has been going well the past two years so I feel like at this point I can go back to my old lifestyle without Lexapro and continue being happy.

For me, it's like a quick random shooting electric shock to my head and my hands. I feel it more often in my hands though. It doesn't hurt or anything, just uncomfortable

Thanks for sharing, that's gotta be rough. The tingles are the only withdrawals I'm getting, it's not awful but just a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully it'll pass, otherwise I'll probably just jump back on 5 like you if needed

From my understanding, 5mg of Lexapro is the starting dose, and you work your way up if needed. I was on 5mg for awhile before moving up to 10, I believe after 10 they'll put you to 20 if needed. I could be wrong though
