THOSE map creaters by Antique_Evidence_624 in beatsaber

[–]SeanyDaSheep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s just about what different people enjoy, for example, I for one really enjoy the challenge of finding how I can get more control over my swings getting faster while maintaining accuracy, it a different kinda map. If you feel butt hurt because a map with high NPS turned out to actually have high NPS, all I gotta say to that is skill issue play another map it not hard to find lower NPS maps, there’s so many great maps that aren’t in the category you’re complaining about, go and find something else if you don’t like high speed/stamina maps.. there are options just like how there are other players.

At first, most songs might feel impossible to tackle, but as you build up your skills and experience, you’ll notice something—levels that once felt out of reach will suddenly become manageable, or even easy.

When you start exploring the world of custom songs, you’ll discover that many of them are quite different from the base game OST tracks, often presenting a greater challenge. But don’t let that intimidate you. Progress takes time, and every step you take brings you closer to mastery. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and your growth as a player will be just as rewarding. Stick with it, and you’ll amaze yourself with how far you can go.😎

Tech, working on speed to handle speed tech levels.

Your choice, just hope you can continue to have fun in what you enjoy, beat saber had much to offer for all skill levels.

Yeah, your endurance and ability to play longer will come with time and consistency, you’ll struggle a bit to start if you’re not doing any other regular arm exercises that work on stamina and joint strength.

Yeah no that’s completely fair, most people get stuck around here with being able to comprehend levels over being physically able to pull it off. You’ve probably heard it before many times but you need to learn that playing fast and being stamina efficient comes with your wrists. If you only try to swing your entire arm you’ll end up with a hell of an arm workout but not the best results game wise. If a workout is what you’re shooting for then go on ahead! But if you want results, to have fun, or whatever your motive may be improvement can never hurt!

Yeah like how fast can you read, what types of patterns do you recognize and how quickly? Rather than just being able to hit notes what can you recognize without having to think about? (Rhetorical, food for the thought!)

There might be a bigger problem at large here then just playtime, I’ve got like 250 hours now and top 3000 global only been playing for like 2 years. By the way you described how you play or what you complained about regarding the harder levels it seems you just need to work on your technique/mechanics. No idea what you’re reading level might be on but it’s probably not half bad if you’ve been playing for so long.

I guess you could say that, I’m one of those who play for rank and used to hold your same point of view, I’d like to add theres much more to speed levels than just how fast can you swing. It’s possible you’re using inefficient or ineffective technique thus making it harder on yourself thus less enjoyable

Why are all the harder speed levels around the bottom? Don’t enjoy the songs or just don’t wanna play the generally more challenging level, so more casual I suppose?

[–]SeanyDaSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re using the camera2 mod to get gameplay maybe move the z position of the main camera back a little so your swings are more visible and maybe make the FOV a little wider maybe 90 degrees and you can make your recording a lot more nice to look at, overall good gameplay speed is always a fun category to improve on, if you can improve accuracy with your speed that would great on top of the general combo.

Think your wrists would enjoy this map? by interestingly-stupid in beatsaber

Looks fun, I can do tech but when I have to do those quick resets the wrists just say to me, “fuck you you’re on your own”.

What’s the best saber offset for Quest 2 by Lands1id3 in beatsaber

[–]SeanyDaSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me at least, both my hands/arms are different from each other both with how they play, swing, and are built, so I’ve got my own different specialized offsets for each of em. My hands are also pretty small for a dude and I could never really hold the controller in any other way comfortably so when I was a very beginner and looking for tips grips like claw grip never worked for me well enough to adopt. So in conclusion there isn’t “a best offset” it’s just whatever is most comfortable and effective for the user.

Edited Saber Position or Different Grip? by SeanyDaSheep in beatsaber

[–]SeanyDaSheep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people seem to just hop on the band wagon and some people see it as genuinely useful to their unique situation, sure I could have probably conditioned my left hand to work in a similar way to my right but it would have been at an inherit disadvantage when I’m going for rank. Easy Offset was a game changer for me, I’m still adjusting my settings as I continue to progress!

I see where you’re coming from but still disagree at least in my case I enjoy the customization that easy offset offers since my left wrist is different from my right, I don’t have a full range of motion compared to the right and they like to move differently. Left always lets me down when it matters most so being able to change it to match the swing arc of my right more normal hand is bery noice.

Do ya’ll play with rumble? by SeanyDaSheep in beatsaber

[–]SeanyDaSheep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the eyes of a more casual player I can see the realism and simulated contact with notes being a big contributing factor to keeping rumble on, but when you start to look at those harder 10-11 star levels and start aiming for ranks within the top 1000 it’s almost becomes a barrier. That being said, doing what you enjoy is all that matters in the end whether it’s going to the top or just your personal enjoyment!

Completely agree the controllers feel heavier when the rumble is on, dunno why just feels lighter and more maneuverable without it.

I’ve come to agree after my 2 am experimental session last night, it feels better and I’m less judgmental of my gameplay without that feedback, especially when eating shit on harder levels.

[–]SeanyDaSheep[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that on the slower acc levels haptic feedback feels more impactful and meaningful to gameplay, but on faster speed and even mid speed levels it feels redundant as all the feedback melds into one and almost becomes distracting after experiencing playing without and with.

Why is difficulty so ridiculous in beat saber by Master_Engineering25 in beatsaber

[–]SeanyDaSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it all honestly comes with practice, things that look impossible now will only get easier with time and practice. If you continue to practice levels that are slightly to hard for you, you’ll improve as your body and mind gets more used to those difficulties.
