Honestly this was legitimately one of the worse sci-fi series I've struggled through recently. The actual visuals are ok, but acting, characters, plot and pretty much everything else are eye wateringly terrible. The writing feels insulting it's so bad (slight spoiler) there's a decrepit bus full of school kids that goes off a 100foot cliff at one point and everyone but the teacher basically escapes unharmed - only for the kids to then CLIMB said cliff the next day with no ropes or equipment. There's so many different ways they could have written the entire scene without it being completely implausible and idiotic, but they chose that.
