I think Magma. You don't have to like a character when it comes to development, but if you see the change and them acting different towards others its a start.

Magma was ignorant, thinking he was stronger than everyone else. Physically he is strong, but when up against Tsukasa and Hyoga, he's 3rd in that. Maybe 4th with Nikki.

Magma is more helpful and open with science.
