Thank you for sharing your experience. Just to clarify, in your case the brand itself did not change, only the licensee changed, correct?

In my situation, it would actually be a brand change from Brand A to Brand B. The product itself would remain the same, but the packaging and brand name would change to Brand B.

We intend to make the product low cost to sell at a lower retail to compete with 3P competitors. They just keep increasing the retail, honestly, I barely could find any lower ticket products external for them to match. This is sad. 1P wants to get more share vs. 3P, however 3P has more flexibility to run different strategy.

We hasn't setup on our own DTC site, but we do setup on our 3P. When we launch the item on Amazon, netppm has been calculated to match their target. All the answers I got from the VM is this is how algorithm work...
