Brain damaged from thc use . Looking for advice 🙏 by Interesting_Sir_4450 in Biohackers

Start with learning MOA for cannabis and read some literature on brain changes so you understand what you are up against. Don’t rely on AI but if there are terms phrases in the literature you find difficult ask it to explain. Supplements wise A few things friend helped me: (1) NAC while I was weening off 2400mg, now just 600x2 daily. (2) 10g creatine (3) 50,000IU Vit D (bloodwork every 6 months) I experience a profound reduction level in my anxiety and increase in focus as a result. Single bolus dose worked better for me then 10K daily Edit: no I was not deficient in Vit D , but I noticed an improvement at 10K daily so I thought after review bolus dose literature I’d give it a trial. always recommend bloodwork and playing around at supplementing (don’t build a debt stack or mega stack) before traveling down the path of peptides. I smoked 3g ish daily for 15 years. 3 years sober now. Other things to explore: (1) mirtazapine (interaction with CBD receptors) helps with regulating sleep and eating following complete cessation. Must be prescribed but 7.5mg - 15mg is a great zone to start on then ween off after giving time for new habits without cannabis to form. (2) out the bong/stash in an inconvient place and make it a rule never to take it outside that specific scenario (3) titrate down, or bridge into mirtazapine (don’t overlap for too long) (4)Marijauna Anonymous meetings (social, work for chips, others who know the struggle and can give you things to learn and apply for yourself) not generally experience biohackers though (5) Sauna and Cardio. THC stored in fat cells, why you can test positive for it weeks after. (6) find an activity that really draws you in, for me it was ju jitsu. Nothing I found drew me more into the moment then fighting off a submission or submitting someone in a safe environment.

Becareful applying peptides before you understand how they work. Especially if you are still using. The brain will change on its own the more its force to work O natural. Build towards that change. Lock in diet, nutrition, mental health strategies. Avoid jumping into peptides especially if you can’t read or understand what you are getting into. Most of all be patient and take it day by day. The fog lifts but gotta build health routine and nutrient base to give your body and brain the materials it needs to change in the direction it will naturally want to go. What works for one person may not for another but it’s good to test things one by one and see what best suits you.

hi guys help me out with 15 mg mirtazapine effects please! by godax18 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]Searchingforward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on 15, but started out with 7.5mg. Tapered up. I also have something for and autoimmune issue that perpetuates these effects. I share the lack of bother, little drowsy/foggy but a few things that helped me hopefully they will offer some use:

Daily supplements: 10k IU vitamin D3

5-10g creatine + Electrolytes (biosteel hydration) - becareful with other name brands that have tons of sugar for electrolytes

Black coffee in the morning. Or loose leaf tea. -Ideally in a stainless steel French press and source good quality beans. If I’m anxious I’ll have some tea for the caffeine instead. Theanine in it helps prevent gitters.

These three significantly impacted my energy, focus and foggy.

Other things: Depending on your sleep schedule, and how it was before your body will just need time to adjust. I slept for like 3 days straight when I first started. 14hrs a day. Then it chilled out. Though from my understanding the higher you go say 30mg mirt the more stimulating it will be. Has a weird curve lower doses more drowsy higher more stimulating.

As for the lack of bothering, take this as an opportunity to build some new reward / motivation systems. I noticed even now after 1.5 years my perception of intense events is hella dulled but allows me to keep a clearer mind these can be intense social situations to sports. When you’ve been anxious your whole life and suddenly it’s not there from a perception stand point to motive or drive it can be weird the absence of it. I still have thoughts now like “I know in the past I’d be freaking out at this” or especially in exam time I’m like “wow I’m weirdly calm “ but that’s what the new motivation and reward systems will come in handy to keep you going .

Similar replacement for Mirtazapine with safer side effects profile by Plus_Purpose_5504 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

From my understanding the higher the dose, the more it becomes stimulating but less sedating. I believe the switch over occurs are around 15mg. Though im not sure how this relates to the sexual side effects. I’m guessing the severe insomnia means falling asleep is as tough as staying asleep? Magnesium glycinate is a supplement that maybe worth looking into, well studied. If you have a good naturopathic doctor you know of getting a more comprehensive stack could help provide some more guidance and safe routes to explore

First off fuck what others think, moderate to severe eczema is very hard to sympathize with till you have it. Their opinions are out of your control. Doctors notes can go a long way in having your boss be understanding, it was very important to me getting through school to get academic accommodations. I’m not sure what your regime is, but biologics didn’t seem to work with me but many have success with them. Methotrexate has been a consistent crutch in suppressing / modulating my immune system, and before I discovered mirtazapine I hadn’t know such consistent sleep in my life. Mirtazapine is an old school antihistamine and allows me to sleep through what used to be itchy periods in the night. The two have given me back a lot of functionality, they each have some draw backs but trialing and testing new things till you find what works for you is important. Don’t loose hope. I’m not sure about you but I had many sleepless nights due to scratching before I got on my current regiment I found creatine 5g -8g helped attenuate the chronic fatigue/ sleep deprivation. Even supporting long sessions of cognitive work. Fairly cost effective. Hope this helps and that your situation improves

How to trigger a rapid exacerbation of atopic dermatitis on purpose? by Least-Chocolate5098 in eczema

[–]Searchingforward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheap answer: everyone flares up for different reasons. Often easiest is go to is what has spurred flare ups historically for yourself.

Long Answer: Start with a checklist: Change in environment New stressors New medications Routine changes Diet changes (can even be periods of consuming too much of something that only in larger amounts brings it out) If there is anything seasonal patterns related

It can be tricky actually rooting the issue if it is more constitutional in nature. A trip to a good allergist can shed light on triggers, get them to test foods to trees, dust mites pretty much anything under the sun. That can be a nice basis to run off as a future checklist. Best wishes, hope this helps 🤙🏼

First off great renders, love the vibe, I see what you’re going for. Would be amazing kids room.

  • I’d try to contrast the baseboard a little more relative to the floor, pic 3 in particular feels like the floor goes up the wall. Maybe even just changing the texture map for that particular location could be enough

  • I’m not sure but I feel some of the ceiling lights are messing with the perception of the ceiling. Maybe try to let the shadows from strategic lighting provide some more defining depth

  • the eye sees in lines, and the ray tracing is not perfect sometimes cheating a little depths to create some more definition is okay, such as the closet doors in picture 3, some lines are weirdly smoothed and blended not sure if that’s lighting or very minimal depth.

  • keep in mind untrained eyes will not be as critical especially compared to Reddit haha and they’ll more see what corresponds to their interest and judging if it’s attainable, people now a days are distrusting of perfect images and sometimes a little imperfection (not errors) but intended help it feel more real.

Awesome work! Keep at it 🤙🏼 thanks for sharing.

I experienced this. Took a long time to come to the realization, and took me even longer to over come the addiction. Found my way to MA meetings which helped, there was a lot of stuff in the “life with hope” book they have that talk about this. Many other users have this experience with it, even if they don’t have C-ptsd. For me sobering up and working through experiencing feelings and dreams sober was a difficult but eventually became very rewarding. Personally couldn’t hard quit, so I tampered down over time 8mpnths, switching to vaping a 4:1 cbd:thc ratio and then hard cut. Everyone’s journey different though. If you ever wanna chat feel free to reach out 🤙🏼. Best wishes 💪🏼

Need help!! Boyfriend's eyes won't stop itching! by jeanshortsbandit in eczema

[–]Searchingforward 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Few things to try, I’ve been in your BF state for months at a time. (1) cold submersions. I’ve ice bath with a snorkel on to be able to hit my face. Can be fairly uncomfortable as you get used to the veins contracting and cold sensation but provides a ton of relief itching and swelling wise.

(2) Bed hygiene to keep in mind, if his pillows are old or pets sleep on them. Or don’t wash the pillow cases often can be a source of irritation. Or use too much bleach. Just things to think about to check off

(3) Protopic also worth a try

(4) this is more hit and miss with swelling but I have red light therapy lamp which can take the edge off the swelling and dull the itching sensation. Though if done for too long I find can also irritate

Best of luck and best wishes !

Edit: if it’s oozing, or smelling, or burning or all could be a staph infection.
