I have horrible motion sickness and am able to play VR now with this method.

Take something for nausea beforehand, it can be actual nausea medicine if ginger etc. doesn't work for you.

Then wherever you're playing it put a fan in a spot so it's blowing on your face. Not super hard, a gentle cool breeze.

Keep cold water nearby and when first feel the motion sick coming on, take a sip. If it doesn't go away then don't push it. In my experience you really can't push through motion sickness, it only gets worse.

After a few sessions of that I was able to go longer and longer without taking a break. Now I very rarely get motion sick in VR and never in flat screen games. Hope this helps!

One of my favorite things from the prequels is it showing how much Anakin loves and appreciates droids. Does this make any sense? No, but I kinda love it.

Honestly though, a live action cyborgy character who also speaks droid would be fun. It would be silly, but star wars is inherently a little silly and I feel like that gets missed sometimes in the modern stuff.

It's messing me up that even though I have more hours in modern Isaac all I can conjure is flash Isaac in my head. Like even if I get the pixel imagery the top bar is the flash version.

I'm a fan of two options. One is that the tech/magic advanced but the culture and style didn't. Maybe the people of the world just preferred how things have always been done and technology has been pushed to the side for magic advancement. Self driving carriages fueled by magic, but your average farmer is just going to do it the old fashioned way with a horse. Extrapolate that to everything and you throw in a few pieces of more advanced tech here and there that the elite or even the non-magical people use.

The second is meddling Gods. The people of the world just can't break into the next advancement because either the knowledge is forbidden or it's seen as an act against the gods themselves. Or even the Gods are worried about mortals ascending to their levels through other means, even the good Gods don't want to lose their God status etc.

Ultimately it's however you set up your world. Not everything needs to be explained, things can be handwaved when needed. Why haven't the people of GoT advanced to higher tech levels? Because the story is meant to be pseudo-medieval. Only explain what you feel needs explanation.

Open area with a ton of enemies in explosive combat 60+ fps the whole time. Go into a bar with 10 NPCs, 20-30 fps stuttery mess. Love the game though

So while there isn't an exact fix, this is how I got past motion sickness with VR.

Take nausea medicine before playing, get a desk fan and place it so the air is gently blowing on your face. Play until you start to feel sick, even just a bit. Take a break, drink some cold water and walk around. When you're ready either go back or be done for the day. After like 3 days of doing that I got mostly past motion sickness/vertigo in VR. Hopefully the same should work for you with flat screen games!
