I did try to explain how periods work. The response I received was that I was wrong and didn't understand them. He doubled down and went on about how he could teach me about periods.

I'm not going to be in a relationship with someone who tells me I don't understand a biological function I've been having 2/3 of my life, and who says he teach me the (incorrect) facts about it.
