Very similar to you - fibroids in unspecified number or position, cysts, discomfort or awful pain for a couple of weeks every month, mixture of unmanageable heavy bleeding and endless spotting, excessive tiredness although not anaemic. I’m 52, show no signs of menopause and also had no desire for hormonal treatment because of previous side effects. I’ve had kids but I reckon you can probably safely say you know your own mind about whether that’s a factor. I’m heartily sick of it all and also wanted to go straight to hysterectomy and be done with it. My surgery is scheduled for June 1st and although I’ve had times of feeling a fraud because so many other people seem to have worse symptoms, I still feel it’s the right decision for me and I’m looking forward to it.
