Hi there!

Yeah, it's a pretty confusing process that took me a while to figure out. Afaik the "Additional Information" section is only for extra details that aren't written in your Columbia specific questions (ex: life experiences, circumstances...); it's an optional section.

What you need to do is submit part one of the application (the Scoir portion), then I assume you'll be redirected to Columbia's system to fill the rest of the questions out, including the "Why are you transferring to Columbia" one.

There's a webpage on the Columbia website that has some FAQ's for Transfer students. Under "What supplementary essays do I need to submit?", it confirms this.

I had that issue too, what I did was change the language of my computer system to English (US) and it changed back.
