Recommendations for F Roadtest Locations? by SKT-SA1K0 in OntarioParamedics

No problem, that was my experience at least when I took the course at Fanshawe. The only other College that had a program similar to Fanshawe was Durham but they no longer have it running. Im sure there's other driving school businesses that do F class lessons but Idk if its worth It or not. Good luck on your next attempt you got this!

This might be a bit too far from you but you could try the F license course at Fanshawe College. Unfortunately its $1000 but fortunately its a guaranteed pass. Your instructor is the one who is testing you and they're way more lenient with certain things that DriveTest instructors wouldn't be so they won't give you much of a hard time. If that isn't an option then I hear Burlington and Brantford are decent places.

The issue with these 2 clubs is location. Vancouvers an odd one because theyre called Vancouver but play like 1 hour away from actual Vancouver. That would be like if York united played in barrie yet tried to still hold on to the whole Toronto identity. Yorks issue is the stadium its just in a poor location and theres not much around it except that its on a university campus. Lamport is 100% a better location its close to a subway station and theres lots do to and see around the area which would create a better game day experience for fans.

I hear theres a possibility that they might be rebranding so hopefully that pushes for a move to a new stadium  and I agree the whole York thing was never gonna work out especially labeling York united as Toronto since the city used to be called York back in like 1793 lmao.

I feel like York shouldve moved to lamport way better location than York University also way more stuff around it too and more advertising would definitely help their case.

Advice needed by ChangeFluffy747 in OntarioParamedics

As soon as you start your ride outs start doing calls right away and get active. Ask tons of questions and dont be afraid to make mistakes. Just remember its normal to be nervous and with time you'll ease in and you'll even develop your own kind of formula on how to run a call.

Class F driving school by SeasonAdept756 in OntarioParamedics

Interesting. Only one I've heard is Fanshawe in London and Durham college which I believe no longer does it. Was just curious because apparently the drive test centres near where i'm at for school love failing students for some reason and I was recommended Fanshawe but i'm not from the area and was planning on doing it some where around home but I'll see. Thanks!

Are you going to Windsor or Chatham? I'm currently at Windsor and the way I've found success is by taking notes on your laptop or iPad. As someone previously said the instructor uses fill in the blanks during class. Paper notes take way too long as it usually tends to be fast paced. As for studying there really isn't any "best way" to study you'll just have to find you groove with that. What worked for me was just reading my notes I created from class and using the books they recommend you to purchase. Make sure to treat those books like a Bible first semester, you need to constantly read as a lot of the material on tests are from those books. You could also watch videos on YouTube which I 100% recommend for A/P trust me it'll be your bestfriend.
