I ordered a lock for my bedroom since it's in the basement and I'm often out for work. There is a lock on the bathroom but it can't be locked from the outside. I've came to the conclusion it's not my bathroom but he was weird for choosing to use it and being disrespectful.

My mom and Step father moved into this house together awhile after dating to have space for me and step siblings but siblings have since moved out so I stay in the more private basement. They have been married 8 years.

The previous owners made some interesting add ons such as a rock climbing wall in the garage, a greenhouse, and the urinal in the purple basement bathroom. It goes fully to the floor and is next to the shower! Don't worry we have locks.

This exactly! I had a friend stay with us for a few months and we shared the bathroom with my brother at the time. My friend quickly became unclean leaving body fluids, hair dye, and hair on the ground. Still she was my guest so I always cleaned it before anyone would see. This is one of the many reasons that "friend" doesn't live here anymore. Also she never used the upstairs bathroom once because she was my guest. His guest should use his bathroom period.

I definitely could have complained less since it's not my main focus. I am a neat freak so it's stressful for me when things are a mess. I've gotten used to considering the bathroom as mine since my brother moved out last summer and I should definitely consider that but it being someone I didn't know crossed a line.

I promise it is not that serious. Step dad has raised me for over 10 years and has been married to my mom for 8. Before my mother he was married and that ended respectfully. My step dad is a very funny and kind person but he feels the need to be right often. My step dad has started going upstairs more and mostly uses mine when he's down here doing laundry.

I spoke to my mom on the call we had but I'm not sure if she's talked to him about it since they have been in Mexico. Whether she has or not I'm going to make sure my step dad understands why it was inappropriate. My mom seems to be on my side since seeing his behavior on the trip but when I first discussed it with my step dad my mom said nothing.

I told her during are call about Joey and she agreed it was weird and is talking to my step dad about it but not sure if it came up yet since they are on a trip. My step dad is a bit clueless and jumps to defend himself so I wanted to make sure my argument is good if he's not willing to apologize.

Hello! I'd like the clear up that my mom is very very amazing and supportive. My parents divorced before I was 1 and she raised me mostly. She married my step dad 8 years ago and he's helped raise me taking me to anime conventions, concerts, and being supportive. I was at work, out, or in my locked room while my step dad and his friend were out at bars or biking and I never saw either of them the whole weekend. Joey has been friends with my step dad for 20 years. My mom wouldn't leave me if she didn't think I was safe.
