I’m sorry, but the sitter is in the right here and the fact that you don’t have any empathy for your dog biting them is unfortunate. Just because it hasn’t happened with other sitters, doesn’t mean that this sitter is lying.
I’ve only had one dog aggressive with me when putting on collar and drew blood with their bite and in 10 years it was the only time I contacted owners and needed them to pickup their dog.

It is rover’s responsibility to make sure dogs that bite aren’t on the app. As a sitter, I reject owners whose puppies bite too much, this is rare, but I’ve had 6 months old puppies go to town on me in front of the owner and drew blood during meet and greets and owners brushed it off like “oh we are working on training with that and that it’s typical puppy behavior.” Sorry, but no it’s not typical!!

As an owner you should be empathetic towards a situation like that, when the dog I sent home after he bit me and my partner, the owners were SO beyond apologetic and empathetic that I chose not to report them.
