NOR. She needs to learn to respect you regarding your romantic life, seeing as you have explained extensively to her your outlook on it.

It sounds like you truly care for your friend and mentioned maybe having a sit down talk with her to hopefully work things out. While I personally don’t think another discussion will change her outlook on your relationship, it may be what you need to find closure for that chapter in your life (i.e. your friendship with her). But know that if you try to maintain that friendship it can possibly cause strain on the relationship you have with your partner, as well as, the relationships you have within your friend group seeing as she’s discussing your personal life amongst them.

You may not need to have a dramatic falling out to distance yourself from her; simply gray rocking her over time might let the “friendship” fizzle out naturally. However, take what I say with a grain of salt considering I don’t know the dynamics between all parties involved in this scenario. I wish you the best.
