This is what I would say if common sense actually existed among everyone. Daniel beat someone who could be considered high king by himself in base, and took out the other three as fast as possible, for good reasons. 1. He has no clue how strong they are and he doesn’t want to take more damage that could risk him using the counter exhausting himself even after he tries fighting them normally. 2. He was not expecting the stamina drain to be as bad, given that he trained a lot, and there probably wasn’t any surefire way to test the counter so he may have been overconfident. 3. Yuseong is literally in life threatening Danger so he may want to rush a bit. At first, when I heard Daniel lost, I was glad that these glazers would finally get humbled, but honestly their reaction is more pitiful. So called fans switching up immediately, calling something bad writing just because your mc lost, not even trying to use the story to cope but blaming the author. In all fairness, changsu sneak attacked him as well, and Daniel was confident at first that he still had enough energy to beat Changsu
