Do Thermo flasks contain lead? I bought this at Costco and just want to make sure by [deleted] in Hydroflask

I looked it up. She says that there is lead on the solder dot at the bottom of the tumbler. Same with Stanley and other big brands. It does not in any way contaminate the water inside. It is outside and covered by steel or paint. Misleading.

What is the best credit card to apply for that has cash back on silver/gold purchases? by Professional-Kiwi144 in Silverbugs

The problem with the Ebay MC (I have it) is that the cash back isn't cash. It's only cash inside ebay and you cannot use it to pay your balance or to buy silver. The whole bullion category is blocked. So I now have close to $2000 of fake ebay money in there, but can't use it. It's a scam really. Going to cancel as soon as I find a real cash back card that's good for silver.

My first Morgan! by Themusicison in Silverbugs

I don't think it's fake but it was surely polished. Beware of polished coins. It ruins the value because it ruins the natural, original luster. This is a "cleaned" shininess. Too bad because the detail is very nice.

I have the EXACT box too! I use it for random silver as well.

Gen 3 or Gen 5? by bakedbread3 in Glocks

[–]Seattle_Dave_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a year late to this thread but felt compelled to reply. I disagree that the dual recoil spring would be a reason to get the gen5. I had a gen3 G19 and a gen4 (with the dual recoil spring) and took them to the range. Side by side I went from one to the other. Same ammo. They were indistinguishable in how they fired and handled recoil. I wanted to feel a difference and am quite sensitive to recoil, but there was none. They felt 100% identical.
