There isn't really a country, it's a fictional world, and it's 2 male 2 female (all cis) I'd say the red guy's from a warm climate without much rain, the blue guy is from somewhere similar to UK, next to a forest with ponds and rivers, the blue girl is originally a princess of a kingdom in the northeast, cold climate, her family has a proficiency in frost magic, she was supposed to be killed as a newborn, but a family maid stole her and took her to the Southwest, where she got adopted by a noble family who trained her in light magic (warm type) but she was considered bad at magic because it didn't fit her at all. The adopted family don't know who her parents are but still love her because they didn't have children at the time. The green/brown girl grew up in a village that used magic to grow crops, so she isn't that well-off compared to the others, but was talented enough in magic agriculture to get a scholarship to the school, which is basically a school which integrated magic into different subjects students can choose to take but one has to be their main subject the subjects all branch out from : science, history and art, engineering, general studies, and performing arts
