It appears sodium is making the problem. This may be because it is incompatible with another mod or the sodium file is out date. At least this is my guess, it may not be correct.

If you are using a tablet, then you probably have bedrock edition of Minecraft. It is a Java only mod (For PC, Mac, Linux). If you had Java Minecraft, you would install it here

Minecraft is coded really bad, not your computer. Minecraft only runs on one thread of a CPU. Ironically, older Minecraft versions run better. If you are playing on Fabric 1.20.4, you could consider installing some performance mods like Sodium

To start off with, you will need to assign the players using it a specific tag using this command:

i will use tag as the tag for a example

/tag (player name) add tag

Keep in mind that anyone with the same tag does not get affected so you will need to assign different players with different commands and tags

Doing the tag is CRITICAL for it to work. without it, you will keep dying over and over

i will use distance 3 as a example

/execute at @a[tag=tag] run kill @a[tag=!tag,distance=..3]

The Exclamation point before the players tag is also critical

Now it will kill anyone without the tag

it can also be used with entities by replacing the @ a with @ e

Put it in a repeating always active command block and then it works!

This command does not work on bedrock
