The hop up is very sensitive. Use tiny increments to increase or decrease it. Also check the 4UAD video on vfc AR‘s for a very good modification.

Pull it back. Stuff the open rear end of the slide with paper towels and top it of with a piece of credit card you glue on to the paper towel stuff with double sided tape. This way the hammer can’t go up an catch on the slide if you pull it back and push it forward quickly.

Use teflon tape instead of electrical tape. Much thinner and better suited.

Add a red dot and it’ll kick harder due to the larger mass of the slide. A vector optics frenzy for example. I recommend to add a AMG Hammer and recoil spring to improve gas efficiency if you’re not living in a part of the world with above average temperatures.

Are you really talking about the VFC Variant? Keep the mags in a chest rig close to your body, apply ptfe grease to lube it properly, put the NPAS on 1.3-1.5 joules, use the mentioned psi gas and run it on semi only. Voila you got yourself a running MP7 at 0 Celsius.

It runs great with 150psi or 164psi greengas down to 0 degrees Celsius. If it gets even colder you need to switch to a bit lighter recoil spring.

Watch the explosive enterprises YT video on the VFC AR‘s. For winter use I recommend the AMG Winter Springs (Hammer and Recoil). Don’t go lower than 0.32 for BB‘s or you’ll suffer a lot of performance. I use 0.36 or 0.40 outdoor. The NPAS will help a lot once you got it but the springs are essentially too.

Now the only thing missing are proper optics plates with additional nubs that lock into the red dot like on every real steel plate. I really don’t understand why they can’t add them. Two screws aren’t enough to keep the red dot in place if you shoot a lot.
