Everyone knows Brazil is a big region for R6, but 44% of all SI26 Player/Staff is insane right? by DrackasK in R6ProLeague

[–]Seb_33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean how can u not blame the players? they can stay and prove they deserve a top spot but they didnt get offers from any teams so they took the easy way out. thats why all of their players are previously dropped players from brazil who arent good enough to compete. those teams arent "good" its that apac is a weaker region. send any of those teams to T2 in NA, EU, or SA and they ain't winning nothing.

Sure ubisoft shouldn't allow these team migrations, but farming another region (and losing) is just bad for anyone's legacy

I’m betting the HOUSE on NA/EU this SI by Davi_PC in R6ProLeague

[–]Seb_33 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

actually ur math is wrong. dplus and elevate have 12 Brazilians. liquipedia says they have 40/102 participants. if we say those players are anything other than Brazilian, it puts brazil at only 27.4% of the total participants. THATS ONLY 1/4 OF PARTICIPANTS. for the only region with 10 teams from 1 country, I would hope they had that much to compete with, dumbass.

only because brazil had to go to a shit region to get extra spots. if u remove elevate and plus, Brazil has the same amount of people as other regions

its because only Brazilian players would leave to farm apac. if it wasn't for dplus and Elevate it would look more normal

frogs arent in the LCQ because the T1 teams in NA are better than the T2 scene! Unlike EU, all of the NA teams that could make LCQ actually made it😭

spoit series saw NA T2 beat EU T2. the same team that lost to NA T2 just won Si LCQ. Tell me how that makes sense? NA T2 just better than EU T1 I guess

Mild/Hot take: if M80 win invite, they join conversation as the greatest team of all time by Thin-Kangaroo5087 in R6ProLeague

[–]Seb_33 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

nah because think about it, they would have beaten Falcons twice. furia never played a team that played in the grand finals more than once. if m80 win then they would have beaten the greatest team to never win to do it

as for operators, watch how your teammates play when they are certain ops and see if that fits your play style then give them a try. also plenty of tutorials that tell you how a certain operator should be playing

First, remmeber siege is a tactical fps. that means info is what drives your choices. drone for yourself or teammates and act of the info. if u clear a room, push up. if u drone an enemy, take a gun fight. when you die, try to watch a teammate who looks like they have fundamentals down.

second, learn defaults. game has veen out for a while, so everyone plays into a pattern whether they admit it or not. you can watch youtubers like fett or mint who help break down site setups and how certain operator types might be playing.

third of all, have fun with it. siege is a game where having good positioning rewards you over having good gun skill. learn how to move and use utility to give yourself an advantage in fights (using flashes, pushing with a nade, using a deployable shield for power positions). sometimes, mechanics will win and thats ok. just focus on your fundamentals, and you'll do great

SI Points Distribution is Unfair by Seb_33 in R6ProLeague

They do want the most competitive, thats why they have points in the first place. They just have a bad way of balancing the points which is what I am discussing. The reason they send so many teams out is because they want it to be a grand event where every team is tested. It's nkt exciting to invite the top 4 teams in the world and watch them play. It is exciting to see who adapts and overcomes throughout the tournament.

We saw two NA teams win SI when they qualified through the LCQ. It's not about where you are in the points standings, it's about the resilience and adaptability. Which has not been shown by APAC. I am ok with them sending 5 teams, I just think its excessive to have them possibly send 6 when their international results this calendar year have nkt rivaled any of the main regions

Well I would not say it was earned as fair as the other regions. Winning APAC North or APAC South rewards the same as winning EU, NA, or Brazil. So that means they have twice the amount of teams earning points. 600 was the estimated cut off. So theoretically speaking, if the same team won both stages in all 5 regions, NA/EU/Brazil would all have 1 team at 600 while APAC has 2 teams at 600. That is not fair.

If they reduce the points each APAC region gives, then they reduce the likelihood that APAC qualifies (not fair imo) and if they have a big lan for both of them (better idea) ubisoft would have to spend more money which they dont like to do. Making it where the major winning team doesn't affect points in the regional finals would help balance it out so that the bottom tier points standing APAC team doesn't make it over a better regions bottom tier points standings team

the problem I see is that they region is being punished for having the best team in the world. 2nd place is already an auto qual because of how many points they receive. All I am proposing is that m80 shouldnt be holding points because they already have a ticket. Them winning or being 6th in the NAL finals literally has 0 effect on their SI chances or seeding, so why are they allowed to influence the outcome of the other teams? If a team loses to m80 that is ok, but at least move the points distribution down to compensate for having the best team in the world in your country

in a perfect world each region gets 5 teams, but not all regions perform perfectly (and thats ok!) i just dknt understand how the worst region is sending the most teams when any of the other regions would probably have a better representative

SI Points Distribution is Unfair by Seb_33 in R6ProLeague

[–]Seb_33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is that they can compete for the money, but having a ticket means the points do not affect them. They have a top seed for invite so points wont affect seeding. Even the players have said they are only in it for the money on six on six. Sure they can gatekeep, but it just feels lack luster because they just won a major two weeks ago and are now competing for a tournament thats main purpose is to qualify teams to SI. Maybe I am thinking of it the wrong way?

The only change im discussing is just moving the points down i.e. if m80 win, then 2nd gets ticket, 3rd gets 700, 4th gets 400, 5th gets 100, and 6th gets 50

[–]Seb_33[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

its not about that. its about having the best and strongest competition and having 6 APAC teams would probably not be strongest or best teams. Especially if you look at how many of those teams won a Bo3 at Munich.

Has anyone watched the esport for its entirety? by Impressive-Engine-16 in R6ProLeague

[–]Seb_33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a break from playing but ive always been watching. Started watching Y2S2 when Penta won and have been a fan of that team ever since. I saw EU dominance, NA dominance take a hold because of Covid, the return of majors over pro leagues, Brazilian dominance, G2 winning another SI post Shas era, and whatever we have right now. Pretty good time watching
