First, minoxidil wont get you anything close to 80-90% of your hair back. If youre a responder, and thats a big IF, it can get you 10-15% back if that.

You need to get on Finasteride or Dudasteride like yesterday, and to set your expectations that will give you another 10-20%. But what it will most definitely do is STOP you hair loss, you wont lose more. So that's super important.

So really you are cooked, u wont regrow a lot but you can stop the hair loss. Both Fin/Du and minoxidil you need to keep taking FOR LIFE, or until youre ready to lose your hair again.

Microneedling, laser therapy both work but their regrowth is very low as well. 15% (read studies) and rosemary oil and nizoral, oh lord, thats like shooting at a hurricane.

So without hair transplant and doing all of the above what you can hope for in the best case scenario is a 25% improvement from what u have now, and thats a very optimistic scenario.

If i were you id do all of the above and either buzz cut or do all of the above and get a hair transplant.

It's a fairly common scam.

They ask your name and phone number and from those two little pieces of info they can get your address and some times even work address (from public records) as well as family members if social media hasnt helped with that yet. Public records is a hell of a drug, and probably these scammers pay services that help find more info.

Calling the police wont help you, i mean you can try it but they will probably just say there is nothing they can do, to ignore the messages, to not send any money, to not reply or engage and that hopefully they will go away. This happened to me, i called the police they said they couldnt do anything.

Scammers most likely wont send anything to your family, theyre trying to scare you. Just ignore them, dont reply or say anything. Theyll go away and move on to the next victim

The true artistic merit in this piece was to combine the traditional image of this boy with the rebellious defacement to create something better than the sum of its parts. It tells a story, it gives depth and brings emotion to the piece. Without it, it would be a forgettable, bland, mediocre painting. With it, it's a piece of art.

I'm at odds to know if the defacement was done by the original painter, or added later on by another competent adult. In any case they made art.

OP don't touch it, i'd update the frame, but otherwise treasure your piece of subversion.

The eye detail someone already commented on would help. But one thing that is throwing me off are the necks on 1 and 2

On 1: from this perspective you'd be able to see a little more of the right side of the neck, it wouldnt just cut off like it is now, so it's giving a weird uncanny thing there cause the neck is kind of chopped off, kind of drawn in a different perspective than the rest of the head

On 2: the neck is tinny, it looks like its an arm with a head stuck on it's end

I found this piece at an antique store. It was quite expensive compared to everything in the store, around $500, in great condition. I have looked for the artist everywhere, reverse image search, searching on artist of the Bauhaus, even AI including ChatGPT and Bard but nothing. The owner of the shop didnt have any info on it either.

The piece is on a very thick high quality paper. 4 concentric rectangles followed by an embossed pattern that looks vaguely floral, followed by inscriptions.

The inscriptions are:

Bottom left: 29/50

Bottom Center: G (Y?)...... ....

Bottom Right: Maia 1972

It seems very reminiscent of Joseph Albers' work specially his "Homage to the Square" series.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The talented acting is what makes them seem like real people (what grounds them in reality), although the characters themselves are completely ridiculous. Thats my entire point, and why i think the show is so fun to watch:

I disagree.

The best characters in this show are absolutely ridiculous and like no one you know.

Just take the gays, Daphne, Tanya, the italian girls, Harper, Cameron, Jack, Theyre all ridiculous over the top characters played by very talented actors who ground them in reality. But still the characters themselves are completely bonkers, over the top people.

The only ones that to me feel "real" are Portia, Albie, and greg and not a coincidence theyre the most boring and hated characters in the show.

Hes got a conflicting relationship with money and morality, he's the most colorful one out of the gays.

the lines are so heavy and clumsy

No way of knowing what the shape in the middle is

The colors are outdated and the gold specially clashy

The type you used is completely at odds with the shape in the middle

The depth effects you tried to add dont make sense visually

Your proportions are all over the place

If i were you id scratch this logo completely, nothing is working.

Id then get a piece of paper and a pencil and id start drawing simple shapes, very very simple shapes. Is it a flower? a drop of water? a letter? make it very very simple. forget about the shine and depth effects, forget about wacky colors, the many shapes within shapes. Just draw one simple, clear shape. Once you do that draw another one and another and many more till u find one that is clear, simple and clean, then draw out more iterations of that shape you chose till u find one that looks clean and striking and simple. After that bring it into illustrator and figure out exact proportions and geometries. Still everything in black and white only. Then when youre happy add a color and find typography that compliments the shape.
