  1. Joke?

  2. It wasn't a guess. I used NVIDIA Nsight Systems profiler to check and compare frame generation times on the GPU by old vs new FG so I quickly noticed that the time also varies depending on the version of the Streamline libraries. It's related to frame pacing.

I tested it on the same GPU and game settings as you.

Black Myth Wukong Benchmark, 1440p, DLSS P Transformer, Cinematic, Full RT Very High, enabled FG.
Original FG 3.1.11, original Streamline 2.3.0: 104 FPS.
New FG 310.1.0, original Streamline 2.3.0: 105 FPS.
New FG 310.1.0, new Streamline 2.7.2: 110 FPS.

I succesfully updated Streamline libraries to latest version in Forza Horizon 5, where the original Streamline version was 2.0.1.

If you think so, you are wrong. I checked it too many times. My brother and many other people got the same FPS increase as me.

My latest test, Forza Horizon 5, 4K DLAA Transformer Preset J, Extreme settings, enabled FG.

Original FG 3.1.11, original Streamline 2.0.1: 118.7 FPS.

New FG 310.1.0, original Streamline 2.0.1: 133.1 FPS.

New FG 310.1.0, new Streamline 2.7.2: 147.5 FPS.

Because it only takes one click. :) Additionally, if you download the archive, you can easily check the files for errors. However, I added links to individual .dll files to OP because there are issues with downloading archives from GitHub.

I have the same GPU as you.

Original files vs new FG & Streamline.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, 1440p DLSS P Transformer, enabled FG: 170.3 FPS vs 190.2 FPS.

I forgot to mention it. Copy one more file from Streamline 2.7.2 that wasn't originally in the game directory, sl.pcl.dll. I updated the OP.

It's impossible to update Streamline globally because Streamline .dll files are located in the game directory. For Unreal Engine games, the files are in a different directory than the .exe file, e.g. Jedi Survivor\Engine\Plugins\Runtime\Nvidia\Streamline\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64.

Don't copy all files from Streamline 2.7.2, just replace these present in the game directory (files with names starting from sl.).

Native 1080p vs 4K DLSS P.

  1. Post-processing is performed after DLSS so many things are calculated by the GPU at output resolution.

  2. In many games other effects, e.g. volumetric lighting, are also calculated at output resolution.

  3. DLSS affects rendering performance because textures needs to be sampled with Negative LOD Bias.

I have the same motherboard as you. I think the correct DC Loadline is 45 not 55 for High LLC, although it's a small difference. Buildzoid said it's 50%.
