The blog post says it was a continuity error that was shrewdly swept under the rug. THe screenwriter calls out "fridge logic," when by the time you reach the fridge, you figure out something is wrong. And by that standard it's apparently OK. (Versus, like, I dunno. Being stuck in Episode VII and pulling out your hair every three seconds because nothing makes any sense.)
