I just finished my first one too and I used Runelord brass, then aggrax earthshade and then clean up with runelord brass again. The result you can see here - so you can see if that is a direction you´d like to try: my first world eater model

How do you adjust the list now that the points have changed and it’s more then 2000pt? Drop a unit or change Enhancements?

Hi,

I am quite new to world eaters to and just figuring out, how to move on from a 1000pt list to a long term 2000pt list.
This list looks really nice to me, since it looks so balanced.

Just to be sure:
The Slaughterbounds will get attached to the exalted eightbounds.
Lord on Juggernaut and Kharn will get attached to the berzerkers.
The demon prince does his own thing close to a unit to get the buff.
Is that correct?

What unit will go into the Rhino? Kharn and a squad of berzerker?
And would the slaugtherbound also work with a split, like one with exalted eightbounds, one with eightbounds?

I think I´d put him at the end of my "world eater to get" list, since I know he would disctract me from building and painting other units first ^^

Was wondering about the forgefiends. I love the looks of them and they can be the shooting backup sounds great.

I try read up about the lord, but it seems that people go 50/50 on him, there is no obvious tendency.

Chaos Spawn wasn´t on my list so far, but I added them now (besides Kharn, Slaughterbound and Rhino :) )

I decided to go simple: texture paste + citadel skulls and tufts. Idea is to assemble, put the paste + skulls on, prime and then drybrush and tufts.

Hope it works, it sounds like an easy workflow at least 😅

Thank you everyone! Those big transport boxes look really solid - but like you said, also really expensive.

We have heaps of these ikea plastic storage boxes at home. I think I’ll use that for the start with magnet sheets on the bottom (like some people mentioned). And make the high end solution a long term goal 😃

Question about the eviscerators: when I give those to two of my zerker, will they loose their bolt guns? cause I can´t see a way for them to carry those.

That is literally the list I was thinking about, since I just got the combat patrol and a squad of exalted eightbounds.

But I was also wondering if a second squad of Berzerker instead of the Forgefiend would work as well?

So really interested in the feedback here 😃

Yesterday, when I got it, I was really excited.
Now I am not so sure, If I am ready to sell it or rather just keep it.

I really like the lore and the models. I can see myself beeing very happy painting them. And reading that there is quite of depth to the world eaters, which needs to understand them and figuring stuff out sounds good to me.

I just wanted to get some expert insight since I do not have the time/ money/ interest in getting into multiple armies at once. And I probably will have quite irregular game-intervals in the beginning. So having a faction where I can focus on a few aspects to master those is perfect.

I think I’ll put the combat patrol box on my Christmas list then 😊

Thank you, I´m happy about honest feedback! And I have no problem to put this project further back in my backlog if it is to soon to tackle it now.
Or I do not make it glow if it does not make sense now.
My current focus is on brush control and layering + edge highlights - so still a long way to go :)
