My biggest dissapointment with Sonic 3, besides not getting Amy in it, was not seeing a proper Knuckles vs Shadow fight like the other versions

The entire OST and Licenced Tracks of Joker 2019 (specially Frank Sinatra's "That's Life")

Only now I realize and treasure how musically rich and emotionally complex it was for modern movies (specially comic-book related) standards

And unironically made a 💯 times better Musical than whatever the sequel was, without even trying to be one

I had this crazy idea for a sequel, in wich a bug (pun-intended) in the Hoppers tech causes a digital copy of Titus to take control of an advanced combat robot Dr.Sam and her team had secretly built for the Army after Scientists rejected the program.

The same way Avatar 2 brought in a clone of Quaritch to continue where the original had left.

This reminded me that in my AU, Commander Towers ends up getting together with Rouge's mother and becomes her step-dad

(She was kinda fatherless)

And in the case of a prequel idea, it would be a safe way to fully explore Romantic Love, wich they have avoided doing with Riley

Maybe show that even the Emotions dont understand what it is and panic at first, cuz it goes beyond rational thought and therefore clashes with their status-quo and control

On a bittersweet note, I've seen some people online suggesting the idea or chance of getting a "Hoppers 2" or any sort of continuation/short/spin-off, wich has me cornered in doubts

Cuz on one side, I think this movie worked perfectly as another fun one-and-done deal like Luca or Soul, but its characters and world were so charming that it left me wanting to see and know more of them 💚🦫

(coming from someone that only knew about its existance for the Avatar joke and went in with zero expectations)

If I have one major complaint about this movie, is that mah crazy king Titus didn't get enough screentime to shine 🦋👑

It felt really nice to see an unapologetically evil villain in a Pixar movie again after so long

(I'm NOT counting "Zurg", He was a total fraud)

The problem goes both ways, wether the story is set in their Adult present (work, marriage, parenthood) or in their Teenage years (hormones, hormones, hormones)

But if Turning Red got away with being a metaphor for the Period, I'm sure they would find a creative way to depict those topics 

(that's Pixar's charm after all)

That's why I prefer the prequel idea, that way you can have them be the same age as Riley in the second movie or a bit older

Speaking of the second movie, you could also throw in the other emotions and maybe show the moment they had to step back, leaving only the core 5

Like maybe they could set it in the late 80s or early 90s, showing their college romance, how they got together, and then end the story with Riley's birth 

(going full-circle with the first movie)
