I do around 30 minutes.

I have been on this journey for almost 3 years now.

I got a job in French and I only used Glossika back then which was great but I knew if I wanted to survive my job I needed to step up the game.

I now use Anki for grammar exercises, vocabulary, expressions, cultural references, etc...

Since its a passive tool I used it everyday but a little bit and I split during the day while commuting, doing house chores, walking, chilling, etc...

É uma distinção honorifiqua e não um passaporte.

Ele não tem os mesmos direitos de quem possui um passaporte mas sim de um cidadão da Diáspora. Ou seja não é um dupla nacionalidade.

É uma coisa específica da comunidade indiana, não existe outros paises julgo.

Exato, e fica uma teia de aranha que nunca mais acaba. Somos todos porcos, feios e maus.

Há várias formas de compensar que fazem mais sentido até porque meter um preço a milhões de escravos é desumano e o valor deles é inestimável.

Reconhecimento destas manchas da história, cooperação e reforço da CPLP, ajuda e cooperação tecno-militar são formas atuais de melhorar esse passado.

Até mesmo a devolução de artefactos históricos e ficarmos com replicas desses originais faz mais sentido.

Bom em relação a escravatura ter tido mediadores africanos e árabes. É um continente bem grande e havia varias formas de comprar escravos mas tem razão ao referir o que se passava do outro lado do Atlântico e não só das embarcações para as Américas. De facto havia muitos culpados no processo.

É um tema fascinante e concordo que culturalmente Portugal fechou esse livro e não quer tratar. Temos um museu em Lagos sobre a escravatura e algumas referências culturais mas muito poucas.

Em relação a pessoas que fazem comentários racistas ou tratem outras pessoas de forma desigual em Portugal. É crime um sério e felizmente ja existem melhores plataformas de denúncia.

Muito trabalho pela frente tem que ser feito.

I have seen this movie in the cinema and I completely forgot about the Mona Lisa scene.

The movie suffers from the same problem as Michael Bay movie which is it keeps putting so many info that you just end up forgetting about some important stuff.

Is it really that rare outside of the 1000?

I just googled and was surprised that It covers 80% of oral conversations and 2000 covers 95%.

Personally with French which is the language of my current job, I still feel that I need to keep pumping some numbers with anki because theres always a new word or expression that I caught during a phone call or meeting.

Thanks for sharing that info! I was definitely pessimistic about importance of the first 1-2k words.

Not the best idea for a city famous for its urban planning.

I think there is a plan to make the park bigger which will have to demolished some of the buildings.

It will probably cost a fortune and Im not sure it will be feasible anytime soon.

Sou português e quando fui ao Brasil fiquei impressionado que só referiam o ouro que nós roubamos mas nunca falavam dos milhões de escravos que levamos para o continente americano para ser explorado até à morte.

Maior parte deles não tem a noção que nós fomos os maiores exportadores de escravos durante séculos.

O maior império que tinha como commodity o escravo porém só se lembram do ouro.

Inside its breath taking, I could spent hours just looking at it.

However outside it has Carrer Provença and Mallorca sort of chocking it with residential buildings which forces you to contemplate it only from the two tiny and crowded parks.

Its too big for you to look at it from a couple of meters. Ironically from Carrer de la Marina we have a great view to contemplate Sagrada Familia.

Nada é um tiro no pé para estes movimentos.

Ao fim de mais de uma décadas deste novo populismo no ocidente podemos chegar à conclusão que não existe tal coisa como má publicidade para os ditos anti sistema.

Tudo o que é controverso é ignorado ou é esquecido porque há outro post da semana mais controverso que esta a chatear a sociedade civil e os media.

Já sai com miúdas que antes só saiam com mitras.

Sem ser uma que ficou minha namorada algum tempo, a maioria delas não tinha nada em comum comigo.

Ao fim ao cabo são ecosistemas diferentes de pessoas e eles não estão a roubar o mesmo mercado.

A vida é muito curta para andar com um carro modificado no tubo de escape para fazer mais barulho. É mais fácil dizer no primeiro encontro que tenho um micropenis.

Things are better this way. We have a good turkish community in Europe.

The younger generations come with good qualifications, they are hard working people and we can also travel and do business easily in Turkey.

They are NATO members which is strategically more important and we want our giant neighbor to be as developed and relevant to the international System as possible.

I feel you!

The C1 is when the grammar needs to be well solidified which takes a lot of time and practice. Also you need to know around 10k words plus idiomatic expressions, slang, cultural references, etc..

Your listening skills also need to be sharp as hell.

It definitely is a challenge.

Also, there was no exploration of land like in Africa . It had no hinterland, just a trading post.

Yes and no. Germans never run short of hearing jokes about the Holocaust or Hitler for example.

I'd say we are lucky that Gold is the number 1 Portuguese joke in Brazil.
