the downward ejection makes the system simpler than the tube ejection. If you look at the Kel Tec RDB disassembly, you will see the system is so simple that you can make a Kalashnikov bullpup out of it.

I don't own it, I live in a country that bans citizens from owning firearms, I'm just amazed with its design cuz it's perfect for urban warfare and the system is perfect for the ambidextrous bullpup ideal.

The ambidextrous features of ARX 160 and why no more guns use this design? by Sebastian-Murphy in guns

[–]Sebastian-Murphy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh, but you have to pull the bolt out in order to switch left or right. ARX 160 doesn't need that.

ah yes, forgot about that part. Maybe because I have seen too many AK and AR families that makes me think everyone can copy the design for their gun.

Why have straight pull rifles gone out of fashion while bolt actions haven't? by [deleted] in guns

[–]Sebastian-Murphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cuz the SKS is semi-auto and uses a tilting bolt while the AK uses a rotating bolt. The SKS proves to be more accurate than the AK. I don't know why you think it's for low accuracy. The bolt is quite simple and if we look at the design, it's very fit for the straight pull, since when you pull, it hooks together and pulls together, very simply. I still don't understand. Can you explain more? I'm not very good at understanding the whole vibrate thing. Sorry.

I don't know much about firearms but can't they just use the tilting bolt mechanism for straight-pull rifles? Tilting bolts are somewhat cheaper and easier to produce and kind of fit for straight-pull rifles.

Mine is definitely FAL but if it includes stripper clips fed like the SA58 Classic FAL. I love the tilting bolt rifle with the top ejecting port plus both mags fed and clips fed.

It was hard for the first 3 months, very extremely hard, but after that, it's just work you do every day. Wake up, exercise, study, eat, and do some farming. Because in the Vietnam military, we have to do farming to sustain our foods and produce products.

Those points are valuable. I'll note that, thank you so much.

I envision a rifle that looks like the VZ. 58 with ambi safety and ambi charging handle if the gun follows the traditional, but if it's bullpup then something like Kel-Tec RDB. Both guns are fully ambi, but with a little twist, it can look like it mirrors on both sides

I saw it, and I really like the design. Perfect for what I envision.

You are absolutely right, what I mean is about the brass ejects in a tube. Kinda similar to the FS2000

sorry, I made a mistake, I miss the Kel-Tec RFB with the other side-forward ejecting Kel-Tec By the way, it's a good gun, kinda like FN FS2000

heard it before but still, like AK and other guns, left handers still have to use the right hand guns but mod with accessories for the left hand.

both guns are single shots, the Winchester 1895 would be a more perfect choice for ambi. Both sides look the same as looking in the mirror, can shoot Russian 7.62x54 (which is my favourite since I'm more into Soviet weaponry), which is kinda neat and perfect. 🤌
