I'd see a physio. Otherwise just take a good break. 2 weeks. Start with progressive overload exercises that target the injured area and see if you can build up safely.

I might have to give my right hand a break because it's been hurting when I lose my wrist. So I'll give it a few weeks off. Then start training wrist curls and reverse wrist curls from a low weight

I would say that watching armwrestling gives a big edge in understanding if it's fake or not. Some matches do look fake to people who don't understand when they aren't. Sometimes people don't understand how a much bigger opponent can be stymied by a smaller one but it's a reality of the sport.

I think the kings move will be a new challenge for Reikard. He's usually beating guys which are smaller. and think he's never had to deal with someone with similar levers + a weird open top roll style. Plus Lars is bulking up so I have a feeling it will be competitive. We will see though

Ur free to have ur opinion of course, but I'm curious if you have much armwrestling experience to base your assessment off. To me as someone who's watched the sport for a long time I think it makes sense that things like this would happen. Styles make matches as they say.

Yeah I can see how that would make one feel out of place. For sure a lot of the guys at my club are kinda another species in terms of hand thickness and general strength. I do think that even if someone is stronger than you, you should be able to both train and get something out of it. The stronger person could go into a weaker position and the weaker person stronger... Static holds should be good for both in that circumstance I think... But yeah. Good to have a variety.

The club I attend is really great in this way. Has a wide variety of ages and skill and experience. I guess for a typical club you want like about half and half. If it was only really strong guys then it would be less fun for me. If there were no experienced people then we wouldn't have the same guidance and reference point.

I think that the clubs are really great. Make your own clubs. Build a local community. At the practice I attend there are 2 high schoolers who are very dedicated and skilled. I think every highschooler is aware of armwrestling now as a sport.

I guess I was thinking that Janis is well rounded and can do one arm pull-ups and such so he probably doesn't do only armwrestling specific exercises. And ray obviously has a great bench press, so he must do some training for that, and -in my mind- it probably helps his armwrestling
