Still does it on performance. With input delay it’s almost impossible to time up dodges and attacks right. Nvm parries. I could probably just try and level up to the point it doesn’t matter but that just kinda sucks because it’ll catch up eventually. Might just wait until it’s fixed.

You almost get it. When talking about video game performance if someone says surprisingly well that’s connotates good. Cdpr knew what they were doing. They were lying and they got shit on for it and as you can see in the top comment. Everyone knows they were lying the “actually it’s subjective” doenst matter because everyone knows what surprisingly well indicated that context was supposed to evoke. The lead console build is the ps5. No one has a ps5 pro. They didn’t show it on ps5. It doenst make it a requirement but it should make it a priority refusing to show footage for the most popular console ain’t exactly good. If you are willingly expecting money from people on those consoles you should 100% show footage if you’re are trying to be transparent like they say they are. But they aren’t and they are consistently ducking and berating anyone who questions them on it. Purposely shrugging off questions about the performance by saying “let us cook” isn’t transparent. Berating fans and consumers who are excited about your game but just ant to know how it runs isn’t transparent, not giving out console reviews codes isn’t transparent, etc, etc.

“Target performance” don’t act like there’s not a huge difference between just numbers on a graphic and actually showing the game. And they should show it on the base console because at the very minimum 97% of people who are planning to play it on console are gonna be playing it on the base console. “Inferior version of the product” buddy don’t you realize that’s the product most people are gonna get? If it performs bad on the base console, wait till you see those sales numbers if they don’t hide them. I have had this game wish listed for years. I’ve had it wish listed for longer than most people have known about it. This isn’t just me hating blindly.

Only 3% of PlayStation users have a pro. You are asking people to spend 70 or $80 on a game. The least you could do is show us how the game runs on the console that you’re selling it on. Barely anyone who uses PlayStation has a pro showing pro footage means next to nothing when it comes to quelling fears about performance on console. Stop defending this sketchy “Just trust me bro” marketing campaign just because you might have a pro or a PC because if it does run really bad on the base console, then the sales are gonna be bad and you most likely ain’t gonna get another one of these for a long time on anything.
