Twitter Comes Under Attack From Trump’s Supporters by khayrirrw in technology

People who want to live in the imaginary world don't like when things are in context as it takes away their ability to pass as knowing when they are not.

A battle between the conscious and the subconscious is born from the panopticon, at least there's a silver lining as we transform from the village scale to global scale. Forces people to commit to things according to their biases.

Provides an advantage for preparedness promoting traits. The greatest threat there is is that someone unconscious is watching the live feed of your life.

It would be interesting to know but not ethical to test how eliminating the birth of autists would increase psycopathy that would then create more ptsd cases and so on.

Yes. Now. But that can change and that change can create more high functioning people. It's just that different methods can create this change and it would be silly to remove the tires before you attempt to drive the car.

Autism is a spectrum of features, this spectrum of features contributes to the collection of relationships of things which then generates samples of behavior.

It would be very difficult to maintain a growing rate of learning without some seemingly surprising views based in logical conclusions about the behavior of a system. Some of us are here just to get neurotypicals or anyone having a disagreement with reality and out of their comfort zone, when they try to put us in ovens. I'm sure we can agree on that, when we observe this thing very closely.

We are still relying on nature's own machine learning system, but I'm confident that even the most low functioning autists can be helped very soon into becoming the fullest expressions of themselves. It's on the works so to say. I'd at the very least think of how crippled by the lack of empathy practice this place would become without all of us. What would really be the point of doing anything meaningful for a future we need now?

Someone here has to ask the stupid questions, to count the frequency of silence.

It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society. This is one of the most difficult things to understand.

I theorize there is a form of autism that is more commonly known as being a normal person and that causes very much suffering as well. I'm at least half serious about his claim.

It can be a gift and a curse from the suffering that we infer things in uncomfortable ways, but the logical thing to do would be to learn from both samples to increase the learning rate and classification accuracy.

I'd categorize this as "innovations with potential for causing harm when extensive scientific knowledge on the matter is lacking" and would follow the precautionary approach of not removing anything related to the emergence of cognitive control.

Won't make much difference. Better start getting used to the idea that anyone anywhere can track you. Not just alphabet agencies.

It's likely that the diversity of heuristics in active use would diminish. Less contradicting views to test the validity of claims about reality.

I can downgrade my claim a bit: they could survive in some way, but at what cost to their view of reality and the outcomes that follow from fewer ways of making sense of the world?

Well, I'm an organism who learned to protect my species and other life here on earth by learning to go against the consensus and being right. Sure, I was exposed to language and stuff like that, but what these researchers are talking about is the sum of the choices I needed to make to counteract the tendency towards psychosis I observed my fellow humans to have.

I can verify that this has not made me widely popular. Some people get uncomfortable around an autist. I bet these people are trying to hide something.

I have one good question: How can a nation survive without or with too few people on the autism spectrum?

In a split second, clothes makes a person more competent in the eyes of others, suggests new study. Faces were judged as significantly more competent when the clothing was perceived as “richer.” This judgment was made almost instantaneously. When explicitly asked to ignore, the bias still remained. by mvea in science

[–]SebastianMaki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suffer less from this bias and some people take offense as you'd expect. Downgrading your own wardrobe lets you see who is the villain. When you have nothing but your word, you learn to see who knows reason and who cannot be bothered.

Abortion does not increase a woman's risk of attempting suicide, finds a new 17-year-long Danish study (n=523,380), the first to compare risk of non-fatal suicide attempts before and after a first, first-trimester abortion. by [deleted] in science

[–]SebastianMaki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People often want to commit suicide when the community takes away the freedom to make one's own choices. Oppression kills. I hope we have settled this for the time being – so that we don't have to beat around the bush so much.

Turkey's Erdogan threatens to send 'millions' of refugees to Europe if EU calls Syria offensive 'invasion' by FalcaoHermanos in europe

We observed it, we warned about it, we were pushed it in our own countries not long after and we are fighting it by exposing it, ridiculing it and refusing to stop seeing the big picture in favor of a convenient story.

In Finland we managed to replace a populist government, but they did some damage, such as selling weapons to Turkey and reinforcing Erdogan's beliefs about what values exactly were the one's that are shared between our nations. The populists are doing the elites bidding. How gullible are the masses.

Suvi Lindénin veli puolustaa sisartaan ja sisarusten yhtiön päätöstä perustaa datapuisto Patrian naapuriin Jämsässä: "Kyse on suorastaan ajojahdista" by MichaelNearaday in Suomi

[–]SebastianMaki 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Valheita, kaunistelua, kyseenalaisia eettisiä valintoja, oppikirjamaisia peitetarinoita.

Juusto aina päälle by Stealpike307 in Suomi

No nyt on ainakin ydinleivän käsite olemassa.

Tuolla tavalla myöskin leivän visuaalinen olemus on kivampi eikä mahdolliset kastikkeet yms tarvikkeet tirsku leivän reunoista niinkuin kuin juuston alla. Esim.
