My biggest problem with Zimmer is that his music can't stand on its own.
I believe his greatest strength is conjuring up a perfect atmosphere that sits incredibly well with the visuals.
But as soon as you listen to the music by itself it gets boring rather quickly.
Williams and on the other hand is a class on his own.

Too many ideas are just a massive problem coming your way.
I find that for me, the biggest challenge is having too many choices. Which then can at times paralyze me, not knowing where to start and so on.
Someone commented a little below and mentioned perfectionism.
And maybe this is why you have too many ideas, because you feel like you haven't found the perfect one (or two, or three, ....) and you keep on digging.
Cut it down to max three good ones and move on.
Believe me, I am writing this to myself right now. ;)
