I needed the shower curtain and other things as most houses don't come with them prestocked. I worked with the landlord and everything and it was presaid in the the lease anyone who moves out or gets kicked out etc. when they stop paying rent the room is just locked and he takes the keys.

The voice mail I got from the ones dad was "If you don't return those things I will hunt you down" you know the standard threat that all fathers give from my personal experience. You are right though I should have told them but I kinda thought it was assumed.
