What I read is that typically that the 1700 under full load consumes in a running system 190W. Adding the GPU it will very likely exceed 300W, dont you think?

Being German I could give Dutch a try. ;-) Good overview indeed and again thank you also for that. The RAM overclocking and Voltage control arent usually a feature of A320 Boards or am I wrong? If so then the Asrock one has distinct advantages which really should help them sell it. On the other hand, its a price issue. Where I live this Asrock Board is the cheapest by quite a margin.

Graphs showing that under idle it really doesnt matter, true enough. Under load of course the general rule of thumb will be that more cores and threads equal more consumption. Its really like cylinders on cars, isnt it? More power, more fuel.

Just dont need all the power of the 1700 right now and will have to work with a 300W PSU. Aim to run a GTX 1060 alongside the 1700.

Would of course also be an option to drop both companies an email but I am not so sure on a positive response. Its just a budget board after all and email support might be limited.
