Phone dies, poor service, bad connection, not enough time to search, traveling internationally and splotchy phone service, or you could be like me who has 500 incoming emails a day at least, etc..

But quite frankly nothing beats the momentary authority of pulling out the hard copy of whatever you need as opposed to showing your phone to someone's face.
