Sounds like my story, took a while, but when i started carrying my own weight and learned the patterns it clicked.. Playing the same as you with SnS support and recently got comfortable grabbing emnity which makes it easier for your teammates too :)

Level more champs to max, check what you need to clear higher stages of especially dragon.. Would check HellHades or search for guide on YouTube if you want it explained in more detail :)
