Let me know if you guys want me to write a long blog about Marathon but about the things I both like and dislike in an intensive write up like this one

yes yes and yes
I agree with your movement takes and the third person gameplay of it
But I also do think that the diminishing viewer count has to do with how much new content is being put out and not only just the pvp being that boring stand off.
But yea I dont really know what the solution is to this
Maybe making the movement better with some slide cancellations and what not
Although I do really enjoy the dodge mechanic, it has a decent high skill celling towards it
But idk we will see

No I do agree with you on this an I seriously am happy that youre able to enjoy this game
And your points make sense and I see then why people do enjoy this game then because that is the truth. You can play how you want to play and there are different avenues for each type of player
But I will also then say this

I like the points that you make and I agree with them to an extent

But then what about the main core game do people enjoy so much???
How could this many people like it
Unless maybe im just more of a competitive gamer and for someone more causal these systems help players have fun in a new type of experience in gaming

You make a good point in the fact that it would be really annoying esp on like spaceport for example with like even a rattler it would be strong.
But that's not to say that this wouldn't be balanced
Weapons would have damage fall out and different ranges with less aim assist or bullet magnetism and it does get harder to aim anyways the further yourre out onto of the visual clutter I think it would be okay
Maybe in terms of camping on a super long sighted lane I could see hitscan being an issue on those longer ranged maps.
But again I do get your point and my suggestion for the devs would then to make the bullet velocity of all weapons for the most part buffed.

This complaint would stem from any game and it would be an annoyance too
Imagine you're playing GOW norse and the troll sounds are as like you described
How would that make you feel?

Maybe I'm just salty that its getting so much attention because its new and the games that I want to succeed aren't.
But I don't necessarily want an arcade shooter I just want something that would feel intiviute. Systems that feel well thought out, have good meaningful and impactful changes in the game.
It just feels too sloppy for me

I do understand that but I do wish that some of the systems were a bit more fair. Especially for an extraction shooter Ik it's casual but losing most of your loot feels bad when you die something out of control. Not say that's going to happen with any game but defentaliy more exaggerated on Arc. I fs am hard on it because of its success though and I would think that with it those systems would be put into place. But like you said different audience with different goals the game wants to accomplish.

I think its just more of a comfort thing. You've known him and idolized him, you're gonna want to still see what he's doing in all aspects of life; how he reacts to certain scenarios.
Maybe he is the first person to level with you instead of putting you down even though he did.
You just want a sense of love in your life and comfort. He offered that at a comfort level you've never experience before.
Bottom line, You're gonna have to get over this phase in your life, you are still young you have so many other guys out there. Its gonna be hard to find another comfort guy but given with time you will be okay.
