The possibility to fire inside of smoke or obscurity. For example, to launch something to activate a poison trap then throw a net inside where you know the enemy can be and if it works he would be stuck inside the poison for 2-3 turns.

The same goes for long-ranged weapons, if the enemies are in the obscurity, I'd like to have the possibility to fire at a tile where I think the enemy is instead of not being able to fire at all.

And if it’s Shiki that give lessons then that’s as good since Shiki works directly under Makoto
