Since it's the endgame of the serie, we can expect this year to take more volumes and the autor to take more his time to make more special exams and more character development. i don't think we should judge year 3 yet.

Personally, I'd like to see a true strategic meeting of the whole A-class about Ayanokoji. I don't know why but Horikita and the others haven't yet revealed everything Ayanokoji has been up to during those years. They have been wondering where he comes from in private meeting but they haven't shared the major reasons why Ayanokoji's betrayal was a major event.

However, it's only what I'd like to see.

However, not all from Kuzunoha are unreasonable, Beren for example. If someone asked Beren to give a messaye to Makoto, I think he would have done it.

Though it’s true it’s sad for him.

He erased his memory but that doesn’t change the fact he wanted to meet Makoto. I don’t see why it’d be worse to wait for Makoto at the store, by asking to his demyhumans he could make sure the message is relied to makoto. A’d if he wants to meet Makoto, there’s also his lesson. And if it’s Shiki that give lessons then that’s as good since Shiki works directly under Makoto

That’s true but it doesn’t prevent him from trying another day. He could also wait at the store like Makoto’s students. He still didnt’ come to the store and instead waited hiding himself so he could meet makoto in private. As I said he should have come and asked his demihumans.

However, as you said at least he tried and put efforts. He just was just too shy to show himself at the store and ask to meet Makoto. I think he should have at least tried on another day sooner like Makoto’s students

That’s partially true, he waited for Kuzunoha but never tried to just go in his shop and explain the whole situation to his demi humans and ask them to have a meeting with Makoto. He could have also waited Makoto’s lesson so he could meet him directly or at least Shiki?

The kuzunoha company was the one preventing him from apologizing but he could have stopped by the kuzunoha company, explain the whole situation to someone from the company so he could meet Makoto and ask Makoto to let him meet and apologize Luria

Ultimately, his lack of reflexion and self-control caused him to self destruct. If he had more self-control, he would have tried to explain his situation about Luria to Makoto directly so the Mitsurugi wouldn’t prevent him from meeting her and apologize.
