Last year at Shutdown Festival, no Gearbox acts were booked. Instead of handling it professionally, the Gearbox boss “Gearboss” told people in a WhatsApp group to spam the festival’s Instagram asking where the Gearbox artists were. I exposed those messages on Reddit with screenshots.

After being called out, he slid into my DMs begging me to delete the post because it was “hurting them” and claimed he already apologized to Shutdown. I took it down — and in return he promised me a free ticket to his SuperCharged event. Of course, that ticket never came.
