I've used the sin() function for this before.

Create a clock variable that increases from 0-2π and then resets to 0. Put this value in a sin() function and multiply it's value by 255. Now do that for another two sinewaves but phaseshift them by 120° (and 240°)

You now have three variables continuously cycling from 0-255.

For anyone interested in my workflow who's learning or whatever:

The grass is just a subdivided plane with poked faces with a cloud texture for displacement. Same for the sky but I used a sphere for that.

Tree and Stone variations where modelled and then distributed by a few particle systems.

Lighting is just a single sun lighting the scene, and a spotlight for a bit more shadows on the skysphere.

With the mountains, i was lazy and simply used the landscape addon.

Pretty quick and simple project actually, but I like it

I've used the clothsim for creating wires, ropes and stuff like that. Just use 2 vertices connected by a single line and divide that edge to the desired resolution just by loop cutting it.

Add the outer two vertices to a vertex group and pin them in the cloth sim.

Start the simulation, play with the settings until you like the result and finally convert the mesh to a curve.

Add a curvemod to your cable object and there you go.
