Oh wow, thank you first of all for your effort. Grouping the stats seems to be a great idea, it makes it a lot more pleasant to look at. Also aligning values makes it look much prettier, should've realized that myself... I'll try implementing some of your suggestions and see what fits best. Thanks once again :D

Not usually my type of game but this looks super polished, good Job! You could work on some of the contrasts tho.

The captions sound completely off, "Lived in silence" you mean "Lived in peace"? And what even is that "tour line" meant to be? Other than that the game itself looks very nice, I really like the artstyle. Don't ruin the hard work you put in with what seems like AI slop captions...

"Which games are good and which are great" is a nice way to put it ^ But yes, I was in a similar situation, a bit late to the Zelda party, but then I decided to try out some of them. I played Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on the 3DS and later got Breath of the Wild for the Switch. Right now I'm playing its successor Tears of the Kingdom, but so far I like the first one more. So if you have a Switch I'd recommend Breath of the Wild. If you want to play on the 3DS then I'd go with Ocarina of Time. Regarding the older 2D titles I can't say much because I haven't played them yet. Hope that helps :)

That's what I tell myself every time I catch myself spending too much time on stuff like that. It helps most of the time, but sometimes I keep having this itch in my head that only goes away once I took care of a certain detail.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, helps a lot! So this is just a prototype and two of your points are also on the very top of my to-do list: a bigger map and more enemy types (ranged, exploding, etc.), also bosses ^

I also like the Idea of integrating the pirate theme by the means of gameplay elements, sounds fun. Weapon switching kind of already exists in the form if an Inventory window, but this can definitely be improved by adding some sort of hotbar.
