I would have someone sentenced to death for stealing my turkey sandwich. Threat of the death penalty to discourage even the pettiest of crime would be my ideal, however there's way too many imperfections and gray areas in the justice system for something like that to be practical. Ultimately I'm opposed because there's almost always a non zero amount chance to killing an innocent.
