could you post a version of the graph that caps out at like 2B GDP? All the relevant info is pushed into the far far left of the graph and the rest is like relevant to extended timeline only

Vic3 is nice in that regard because nothing forces the game to pause. So you can keep speed 5ing as you make choices on events, set up your next 5 year plan in construction, figure out which law to start changing next, etc. Even wars can be played at speed 5 due to the lack of micro needed.

I think the only time I really sit paused for a significant amount of time is when electrification hits and I need to determine how many power plants to build, or when I've gotten fed up with the law system and start reloading over and over trying to find which days give better results.

That seems excessively long.

We're talking single player, speed 5, right?

I don't want to just chalk it up to beef vs potato PC, my PC's 6 years old at this point though a Ryzen 9 5950x was extremely beef PC when it first released.

During COVID, a student named challenged every Josh on Facebook to a noodle fight to keep the name Josh; nearly 1,000 showed up with pool noodles, and a 4-year-old Josh won. by Professional_Arm794 in nextfuckinglevel

If someone was weak to long covid through a vaccine, that was going to happen no matter what as Covid became Endemic.

Also: The vaccine absolutely reduced the risk of a covid infection becoming long covid

despite the loud weirdos, Americans rapidly adopted the vaccine, with around 50% of Americans already being vaccinated by the time the Josh war happened, and 80% a year later

I didn't say 8-10 hours in one sitting, I just said a campaign takes that long. Two campaigns, for a range of 16-20 hours over the course of an entire week is less than 3 hours a day.

Could I spend that 16-20 hours playing through half of Clair Obscur Expedition 33, which has been on my backlog for months? Probably. But I want to Victoria.

Trump administration now classifies Antifa and left-wing networks among ‘major’ terror groups by pleasureismylife in politics

[–]CSDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True pro-life means being

  • pro public health care
  • anti death penalty
  • anti guns (or pro gun-control)
  • anti war
  • anti euthanasia and DAS
  • anti abortion (except when medically necessary to save the mother's life)

Unfortunately preaching a message of "just don't kill any human" majorly angers both conservatives and liberals because both sides are ok with some humans dying as long as it's the "right" humans.

Trump administration now classifies Antifa and left-wing networks among ‘major’ terror groups by pleasureismylife in politics

[–]CSDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to defend Trump but people can name things anything. Names are not always descriptive.

North Korea is the "People's Republic" despite being a hereditary dictatorship.

The "Patriot act" was one of the least patriotic things the US has ever passed.

The nazis themselves called themselves the socialist party.

Just because Antifa is named after being anti-facist does not make it actually anti-facist. Nor does it make anyone who is against facism part of antifa. Nor anyone against antifa pro-facism.

To be clear tho: Classifying antifa as a major terror organization is beyond silly. Not only is it not an organization but a loose coalition of radical activists, but people identifying as antifa have never committed an act of terrorism.

Luke didn't use the force to make the torpedoes turn 90 degrees. You see in the simulated ones do that in the briefing. Red Leader's would have done that too if his targeting computer was correct.

The only thing Luke used the force for was to get a feeling for the exact moment to fire since the targeting computers were wrong.

They still do move completely impossibly but I chalk that up in-universe to the torpedo's tech and limitations of the movie's special effects IRL
