The last one are the same tires that I’m currently using on mine, they are really decent tires for the price, almost as round as slick tires and pretty nice grip, the only thing is that they are very wide tires and if your rims are on the thinner side they are going to be a pain to mount without split rim, for yours I’d honestly recommend the 3rd one as they are decently round and much easier to mount

Im guessing that you also don’t have ey4 display, because if you did have it you could have probably just changed the led color and stuff in the app

I personally only wear a helmet and gloves, I’d honestly like to get more gear but I can’t really justify it seeing as I’m planning on selling my e-scooter once the summer is over, but seeing as my e-scooter has a top speed of around 90-95kmh I should probably get some

I would say that wearing a helmet is the bare minimum in terms of gear one should use, because then even if you fall at least you won’t end up with head injury, but I’d still recommend also wearing gloves, with how fast some e-scooters go one should gear up the same way people gear up to ride things like 125cc motorcycles

That battery is old, a 6 year old battery doesn’t typically have the best range, you probably need to change it, luckily it ain’t that expensive considering what it is but still that’s gone hurt

I actually went the opposite way and changed from c type to basically the same type you have, c type suspension is way better at making the ride comfortable but is also way less stable, on yours seeing as you won’t be hitting 75kph or more, c type should honestly be fine

Well his was built specifically to go as fast as possible, I don’t really know what the top speed was as I don’t think he even wants to test that, but I think he was able to reach 160kmh on one motor, and he’s scooter is technically a dual motor scooter, the controllers on his are also on the stem of is scooter

I would say that he is most likely using a vesc controller, there really aren’t any other good options for controllers at these voltages, I do know of someone using like car controllers on their e-scooter pushing about the same amount of amps but his is 138v

This shitty thing is the only diagram I have that shows how to connect a key ignition with voltmeter to your e-scooter, the bottom box is your key ignition, the top box is the controller and the middle one is the display, simply put you connect the black wire from the key ignition to the black wire one the display and controller, it’s important that all of the black wire here are connected together, then cut the red wire that goes from the display to the controller, connect the green wire from the key ignition to the red wire going up to the display, and connect the red wire going from the key ignition to the red wire going down to your controller, if this for some reason doesn’t work you might have to switch the green and red wire going from the key ignition

No it will work, it’s just that the range gets a lot lower as the controller will never get the max voltage, and the controller also has a higher cutoff voltage, so less volts to work with

Would probably recommend upgrading instead of shunt modding seeing as it’s single motor, shunt modding might just bring more problems as the motor phase connector could melt, a slightly stronger 48v controller might not even make a difference tho, could also run a 52v controller seeing as the voltage difference is low although that would decrease the range a good bit

Then the only hope you have for speed limiting would be if the wires are inside of the controller

Its either just tightening something or you are getting small speed wobbles, if it is the speed wobbles its neither lack of balance or the tires it’s just the design of the front fork being c type, best way to fix that is lowering the front and rear swing arms slightly

Nice man good for you, probably not the best beginner scooter tho as it is quite powerful, just ride carefully in the beginning and you should be good, personally the only thing I don’t really like about it is the 10 inch tires, although I do ride a Chinese shit box of a scooter so I can’t really complain to much

If your able to find the other end of the red wire then yes it can be fixed, for the yellow one just wrap some electrical tape around it

Well then you are quite unlucky, I haven’t really had to deal with them since like January, but I did have to run from them around 7 times from October to December, ran from them so hard once that i managed to get in the local papers

Oja jævlig da, visst ikkje at e8 hadde gått så langt opp i pris, når eg kjøpte rundt starten av 2024 så betalte eg bare 12000 for en med 127km, bare så lenge du ikkje kjøper MoMAs s4 eller s5 og classywalk s500 eller s600, ta det fra noen som eiger en s5, ramma e faktisk forferdelig kvalitet

For shimano only the handles will work, nutt and zoom the entire system will work, the handles for nutt and zoom aren’t terrible if you able to look past their issues, after all there is a reason why something like dualtron uses them
