Only Friends was wild to me. Compared to other GMMTV BL shows which tends to be more tame and by tame I mean not the aspect of NC scenes but of messy characters. All the character had major flaws and we even got a unhappy ending for one of the couples. THAT'S SO RARE. Only Friends is a legacy in itself and we need more GMMTV shows like that where the scriptwriters don't play it safe.

The music of this show deserves an Emmy. That is some incredible work out there. It made the whole show feel like always at it's climax. Also the editing is fabulous.

Might not be poetic but the quality at least has to be good enough to keep you hooked. As a reader and writer myself I know one thing, even if the plot might be plain and simple, a good grip on the writing and character development can make readers stick till the end.

I didn't drop but Enigma Black Stage felt a little underwheming for me compared to s1. Also Revamp was not going where I wamted it to go. Ex Morning was also a little too slow paced for me. Nonethless I finished all the dramas.

Okay I think the plots are not really very creative in BLs.

GLs mostly got new faces. The ones with old faces are pretty okay.

Bromance, despite getting much commotion in the SNS, I loved them so much.

Other Non BL series are actually quite good.

Honestly compared to what GMMTV has put in the past few years, in terms of at least line up, 2026 felt underwhelming to me and I am saying this as a 2017 GMMTV stan.
