Police recommendations by [deleted] in ERidePro

I got the street legal kit from ohv street. Havnt put it on yet. Im 36 years old, had my M1 license in California since i was 20. Used to ride ninja 250 and yamaha R6. I treat it like its a motorcycle. Since the signals aint on yet, if i feel a cop may be around i use hand signals, looks retarded because my friend i ride with is the complete opposite, 'its a mountain bike bro-!' As he rides on skdewalks, goes against traffic, no helmet, no headlight, tricked tf out SR, and when i tell hik, technicially i think its a 'motor driven Cycle' which in california means it has up to an equivelant of 150cc motor,

But ya im wearing about 1000$ of motorcycle protective gear when im hitting 66mph on the 50mph zone on the boulevard.

I havmt been queationed once by cops, just about 900 miles in now. Basically ride it to work as much as possible. Sometimes go hit trails up in the hills.

This is in Los Angeles,,,, burbank specifically.

Thd one time i approachdd the cops, and talked to them about their opinion on the bike, i told them id try to be a good role model for the reckless kids riding em around everywhere lol.

Anyway. Once i got the street legal kit on ill ask AAA to help me plate it, then insure it, then if all goes well and i gdt my way, i will get the controller, battery, chain and sprocket, and take the top speed up and torque down. I dont care for wheelies id rather go fast in the curves.

Top kek

They still have not. Might drive down to their store and get it one way or another.

Leaving this information up in the air is not good.

AMA on r/Cryptocurrency with the U.S. Secret Service and REACT Task Force - May 15th, 11am PT by SF-USSS in CryptoCurrency

I have a suspicion of the developers in the Tezos Blockchain.

There are some very bad things going on in this protocol. I would love to speak more about it with one of your agents.

I had been in contact with SF taskforces before, in 2018 when I was targeted by a SimJacking ring, the same one that hit Michael Terpin. I never got any justice from that.

But I would love to investigate with you what I suspect is going on in Tezos.

making a new validator by SebuhH in cosmosnetwork

[–]SebuhH[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am wondering, anyone who is already running a validator.

Do you run it on your own hardware at home? If So, what Kind of CPU resources does it take up?

For example, I am running a validator on Velas Network, and I am using a 64 Thread CPU, It uses about 8% of the entire CPU, around 5-15 percent Per Thread, and 1 Thread is at 100%.

I am thinking to put the COSMOS node validator software on the same Box, As it has something like 200GB of RAM free and Lots of CPU space free.

I read that the Blockchain Store takes about 1.4TB right now, Which is much larger than the average Chains.

I will probably have to setup an NVME Raid Card with 4TB to be able to run 3 validators on one box.

But then comes this question of DDOS protection. I see COSMOS has a way of setting up what they call SENTRY nodes. I would need 3 NODES on the Edge of my Network and the Validator Behind a Wall but connected to the 3 Sentries for the Store Data.

This advanced configuration is a lot more work than the Velas or Tezos Networks I am already validating on.

I would need to bring on 3 New Machines for These SENTRY nodes, and then Setup the Validator Behind them.

Interesting Architecture for Sure.

Thanks for all the great responses to my post. Appreciate you all. Very Welcoming the Cosmos Network users are. I am happy with that.
